Next up, we need to sell our home. After a nervous announcement to our neighbours, Georgie & Rob, who we are going to miss SO much, there was nothing else left to do but get it up for sale.

We both agree we need mum to see it. So in a flurry, she jumps on a train in Penrith and within 24 hours we are on our way back to Dalhousie, just mum, Matilda and me this time.

We are greeted by my new italian friend with a warm welcome and proceed to spend over an hour and half at the property. Mum agrees there is a lot of work but she can see the potential and recognises that we are young and we can do it.

 I feel another step closer.

We have found it!

Today we found our next home. A perfect space that needs a ton of work that i can see myself happy as larry doing over the next few years. As the owner, a nice italian man, showed us around 'Dalhousie' we fell in love, me with the artist studio with stripped back floors and Jimmi with the library and both of us with the high ceilings, large bedrooms, turning stair case and countless fireplaces.
Bee chose her room and was delighted with the room we proposed for her and Tilda's playroom. Everyone had a good feeling.

I search endlessness for houses when i am looking and i can see past other peoples styles and vision my own in the space, when I like a house on paper, i study it to the point where i feel like i have been in it several times before by the time i actually get in so when my body tells me this is it, i trust it.

We put an offer in. They reject it. We put another one in, the highest we can go. They accept it.
